It's Vishakha

have a nice day

1 note

I spent a lot of time watching Doctor Who today. Right from the beginning of the restart. Series 1, Episode 1.

And for all the love that goes on for Moffat, I’ve actually got a soft spot for good ol’ RTD. Even with the low production value and often cheesy dialogue (sorry guys, I calls it like I sees it), a lot of the basic ideas are really, really good.

For example, episode 2 (The End of the World) really impressed me because it dealt with the idea of the mortality of, not only human existence, but existence in general.

You can’t start playing around with the idea of time travel without acknowledging that time comes hand in hand with endings. We all have an end. You have an end. I have an end. Humanity has an end. Earth has an end.

And Rose dealt with that when she had to witness the destruction of the Earth, even if it was thousands of years in the future. And she dealt with it well. And I think that…

is just FANTASTIC.
